Does azlan.net set cookies?

No. The site itself sets no cookies — not for sessions, analytics or advertising. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

What the site keeps in your browser

Your theme choice (dark, light or system) is stored in your browser's local storage under azlan_theme. It never leaves your browser and is not sent to us. Clearing site data removes it.

Cloudflare

The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which protects it from abuse. As part of that, Cloudflare may set a short-lived cookie such as __cf_bm to tell automated traffic from people. It is strictly necessary for the service, identifies no one, and is described in Cloudflare's own cookie policy. The contact form's human check (Cloudflare Turnstile) works the same way.

How we measure traffic

Server logs, analyzed with AWStats on our own systems and monitored through Datadog. No JavaScript, no cookies.
Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies, fingerprinting or tracking individual visitors.
